The purpose of Spirit of Life Church is to find hurting people and restore them in their relationship with God with emphasis on ministering to the whole man. The main thrust of the ministry is to build up the family with the word of faith. For years Pastor Skelton watched people hurt because of beliefs that were not founded on the word of God but rather on denominational dogma. Thereby with 2 Corinthians 3:6 in mind Spirit of Life Church was birthed, with the understanding that “tradition kill lives, but the Spirit of God gives life to the hearer.” Since its' origin they have consistently sought to teach and preach the word of God. They have had great success in seeing lives changed with this approach.
